The Hotel Macia Basilian Monastery was built on the old "Morabito" (chapel of the Nazari period) in the year 1616 by the Bohorquez family, Marquesses of Trujillo. Located in a unique setting on the Genil river and near to the center of the city, within the monastery of the same name. The entrance to the hotel is made from the church courtyard of the old the cloister, which has been maintained its original structure.
